Naked
Mole Rats in the World of Darkness
by
Mike Folie
2 Males, 2
Females
Synopsis:
Four actors
play twenty-seven different roles to create a kaleidoscopic burlesque
about men, women and the eternal communication problems that keep them
in conflict. Stories range from a DEA officer busting the guy who once
stood her up at the senior prom, to a pair of squabbling male and female
genitalia, to an aging movie star ambushing her ex-husband at the
airport, to a frustrated art director trying to explain to his wife why
he must leave her and their kids "for art." Absurdly hilarious,
poignant, and often bittersweet; it all ties together with monologues
and short scenes that add punch and keep things moving. The perfect
"date night play,” Naked Mole Rats will delight adult audiences
of all ages.
